Dr. Johnson is an optometrist dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of binocular vision and learning-related visual disorders. She is originally from Arkansas and received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Memphis in 1994. She graduated with honors from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in 2001. She completed a post-graduate residency in Pediatric Optometry and Vision Therapy Rehabilitation at the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2002. She chose to concentrate her efforts in Developmental Optometry and Vision Therapy after learning of the vast number of children and adults suffering from treatable vision problems such as strabismus, amblyopia, learning-related visual disorders, and reduced visual functioning secondary to acquired brain injury. In 2009 she was awarded her fellowship in COVD making her board-certified in vision development and rehabilitation.
Dr. Johnson serves on the advisory board of the Therapy and Learning Center here in Jackson. This has allowed her to provide guidance and quality eye care to special needs children in the west Tennessee area. Through her professional training and volunteer efforts, she has gained experience in diagnosing and treating visual disorders in populations with special needs.
Dr. Johnson is currently licensed in the state of Tennessee . She is a member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, the Optometric Extension Program Foundation, the American Academy of Optometry, the Tennessee Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association.
Stephanie McMillen, OD

Dr. Stephanie McMillen is an optometrist dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of binocular vision and learning-related visual disorders. She is originally from Florida and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University. She attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, and completed a post-graduate residency there in Pediatric Optometry and Vision Therapy Rehabilitation. Through this program she chose to concentrate her clinical care in developmental optometry and vision therapy. She treats a variety of vision related problems such as amblyopia, strabismus, learning-related visual disorders, and reduced visual functioning secondary to traumatic brain injury. She has experience caring for visual disorders in populations with special needs clinically, and through her volunteer work with Special Olympics Opening Eyes and mission trips oversees.
Dr. McMillen is currently licensed in the state of Tennessee. She is a member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, the Optometric Extension Program Foundation, the American Academy of Optometry, the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians, and the American Optometric Association.
Maureen- Vision Therapist
Maureen is a Certified Optometric Vision Therapist who has over 10 years experience working with patients with various visual needs. She is also a Certified Paraoptometric Technician and is a member of the American Optometric Association and the College of Vision Development.
